StratCan Building Systems is a supplier and installer (or supply only) of pre-engineered steel buildings, Calhoun fabric and steel buildings, and prebuilt homes in Newfoundland and Labrador. We also supply specialized structures for the mining industry, such as triode domes.

 

​Our prefabricated steel buildings are CSA-A660 certified. These buildings can be insulated and are covered with metal panels. 

​

Our industrial fabric-covered steel buildings are steel trusses covered with industrial fabric for bright and unobstructed enclosed spaces.​

​

We are authorized dealers in Newfoundland and Labrador for both types of steel buildings.

With the industry-leading metal building design software and our steel building erection labour forces, StratCan can supply and install a building to meet any specific requirement. Energy-efficient designs, larger spans, and flexibility allow for the creation of aesthetically pleasing designs using any conventional building material.

Our Buildings are available from 16-250 ft wide and up to 600 ft long.​

Our Design Build Process

 

Our Design Build process begins with a consultation where we listen to your needs and goals to understand your vision for the project. From there, we will provide a detailed proposal outlining the scope of work, timeline, and budget.

Estimating

We will prepare a preliminary design and, from there, provide a detailed estimate for your project from start to finish.

Planning

Once our proposal is accepted, we begin the design and planning phase, where we work with architects, engineers, and other professionals to develop a comprehensive plan that meets your specifications.

Construction

During the construction phase, we provide regular updates and progress reports to ensure that you are always informed about the status of your project. Our team works efficiently to complete the project on time and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality.

Commissioning & Project Handover

At the end of the project, we will walk you through the entire project site to verify that all systems and services are operating as they should and provide any necessary training before officially handing over the keys.​​
